House Democrat claims it’s not a crime to enter the country illegally
Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is working to become the biggest loudmouth in the House Democrat caucus.
She claimed that it wasn’t a crime to enter the country illegally during an appearance on MSNBC.
The Texas lawmaker argued that Republicans were trying to trick people into believing it was a crime.
“What they’re not telling the American people is that it is a civil violation,” Crockett ranted. “It is not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally. It’s not. It’s not criminal. It’s not a crime. It’s not a crime.”
Crockett pivoted to falsely claiming that Republicans wanted law enforcement to stop going after murderers.
“Which is why they’re so frustrated, because they really want our local law enforcement to go out and round up people when they could be looking out for the murderers and the sexual abusers, as well as the robbers. They want them to go and round people up on civil accusations,” Crockett raved.

“Border Czar” Tom Homan previously called Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) the dumbest member of Congress.
He said that it was shameful how ignorant of the law that Crocket was during an appearance on Fox Business Network’s Fox Business Network.
“It’s a crime to enter the country illegally under Title 8 United States Code 1325 and it’s really pathetic that any Member of Congress [doesn’t] understand what the law says,” Homan explained.
Entering the country illegally is a federal misdemeanor punishable by up to six months in jail and fines.
“They wrote the law, they enacted the law, [it’s] signed by a President. It is a criminal violation to enter the country legally. And if you’ve entered prior, it’s a felony,” Homan stated.
This wasn’t Homan’s first rodeo educating an obnoxious House Democrat on immigration law.
“So I’ve been saying this for I don’t how long on your show, and I had to educate AOC [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez], what, years ago, during the hearing that it’s a crime to enter this country illegally and we’re going to enforce those laws,” Homan recalled.
Homan sparred with Ocasio-Cortez during a 2019 hearing about asylum seekers at the southern border.
He explained that a migrant seeking asylum still had to go through a port of entry on the southern border to enter the United States.
“Mr. Homan, with all due respect, legal asylees are not charged with any crime,” Ocasio-Cortez claimed.
“When you’re in this country illegally, it’s violation 8, United States Code 1325,” Homan replied.
Democrats don’t want illegal immigration to be a crime, so they pretend it isn’t one.
Every Democrat Presidential candidate raised their hand during a 2019 debate when asked if illegally crossing the border should be changed to a civil offense.
The “Border Czar” has to educate Democrat elected officials about what is self-evident to any right-thinking person.
