And Rosie O’Donnell followed through on one promise that will have Trump supporters jumping for joy.
Democrats and the Fake News Media spent the past several years painting Donald Trump as a violent and dangerous threat to democracy in America.
They smeared him as a would-be dictator who planned to round up his political opponents and toss them into concentration camps if he won a second term.
Even though this sounds outrageous to any sane person, many on the Left are suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).
Numerous celebrities and entertainers promised to pack up and leave America if Donald Trump won a second term.
But most of them did not follow through.
In November of 2023, Barbra Streisand told Stephen Colbert that she would move to England if Trump won.
“I can’t live in this country if he becomes President,” she said.
Cher promised to leave the country after Donald Trump’s first victory in 2016 but failed to keep her word.
However, in an interview with Guardian in 2023, she said that “this time I will leave [the country]” if Trump wins.
In July of 2024, Sharon Stone told the Daily Mail that she was considering a house in Italy if Trump won.
“I am certainly considering a house in Italy,” she said.
All three broke their promises and are currently living in California.
But not all promises were broken.
Comedian Ellen DeGeneres and her wife, actress Portia de Rossi, followed through on her promise and moved to Cotswolds, England.
Actress Rosie O’Donnell spent years threatening to leave the country if Donald Trump returned to the White House.
And in a video posted to TikTok on Tuesday, Rosie O’Donnell announced that she followed through on her promise and self deported to Ireland.
“It’s been pretty wonderful, I have to say,” O’Donnell said. “The people are so loving and so kind, so welcoming, and I’m very grateful.”
“I was never someone who thought I would move to another country, that’s what I decided would be the best for myself and my 12-year-old child. And here we are,” she said, explaining the move took place on January 15th.
O’Donnell said she will return one day if America gives “equal rights” to all people.
Of course, by “equal rights,” O’Donnell means special privileges for the woke Left.
“You know, I’m happy, Clay is happy, I miss my other kids, I miss my friends, I miss many things about life there at home and I’m trying to find a home here in this beautiful country and when it is safe for all citizens to have equal rights there in America, that’s when we will consider coming back,” O’Donnell said.
“It’s been heartbreaking to see what’s happening politically and hard for me personally as well,” she added. “The personal is political, as we all know.”
In the nine-minute video, O’Donnell urged her fellow leftists in America to “protect your sanity.”
“Protect your sanity as much as you can, and try not to swim in the chaos if possible, but I know it’s nearly impossible when you’re there in the middle of it,” O’Donnell said.
“And I think about everyone every day and the United States of America,” she continued. “And I am hoping that we can turn things around, counting on you, all of you, to do what’s right, and I think deep down inside, we all know what that is.”
O’Donnell is a loud-mouthed, unhinged, woke leftist.
Her moving to another country is a great day for MAGA.
