Polls are closing across the nation. And the latest BREAKING news will leave jaws on the floor

All eyes are on the prize of the White House tonight.

But the House and Senate are up for grabs as well.

Now polls are closing across the nation. And the latest breaking news will leave jaws on the floor.

What a day it’s been so far . . . and what we’re keeping an eye on

First off, thanks for joining the Renewed Right team as we recap the day’s events and the latest on key races across the country, and of course, the race for the White House.

Pennsylvania turnout appears high on Election Day and irregularities in at least one county, Cambria, are keeping their polls open until at least 10pm, meaning it may be a while before races there are called.

Most recently, a judge ruled that Luzerne County, PA, polls will also remain open until 9:30pm.

Sources inside the Trump campaign told Charles Gasparino to keep an eye on New Hampshire as a bellwether for the nation.

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris tied in the tiny community of Dixville Notch on Election Day 3 to 3, which while not the results the Trump campaign was referring to, is still interesting to note.

AP exit polls found voters nationally and in swing states strongly viewed the Economy and Immigration as their top issues, which should favor Trump in those key states.

Everyone here and around the country are anxiously awaiting the results, so stay tuned and keep checking back as we update this post with new information and some humorous bits we find along the way.

Polls are closing!

7:06PM – Fox News has called Indiana and Kentucky for Donald Trump.
7:08PM – Fox News has called Vermont for Kamala Harris.

No surprises yet, but we’ll see if things move quickly this year.

More states will close at 8pm ET – if you’re in line to vote, stay in line until your ballot is cast!

Minutes after polls closed in Florida, Donald Trump was out to a strong lead. Why can’t more states be like the Free State of Florida?

We’re keeping an eye on Virginia’s Senate race between Tim Kaine and Hung Cao, as an upset for Democrats there could indicate a landslide election for Republicans nationally.

7:30pm – Fox News calls West Virginia for Donald Trump. Again, no surprises there. And West Virginia’s Jim Justice wins the Senate race, flipping Joe Manchin’s old seat for the GOP.

But talk about surprises, these exit polling numbers in Georgia look absolutely devastating for Kamala Harris if the results track.

7:56pm – Fox News calls South Carolina for Donald Trump.

8PM ET as more polls close and lots more races are called

Reminder, there are two counties in Pennsylvania where voting will continue after 8pm – Luzerne County until 9:30 and Cambria County until 10pm – that said, if you’re in line, stay in line until your ballot is cast!

Fox News quickly called Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida for Donald Trump.

Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhodes Island, Maine District 1, and Washington, D.C. for Kamala Harris.

That brings the totals to 105 Electoral Votes for Trump and 72 for Kamala so far in the hunt for 270.

Still no surprises statewide, though deep dives into the numbers could indicate where Georgia is headed.

At 8:30, Fox News called Arkansas, a state that hasn’t voted Democrat since its native son Bill Clinton was at the top of the ticket.

The real interesting numbers are coming out of Virginia right now. Media pundits hadn’t expected it to be a swing state this cycle, but Karl Rove reportedly said the Trump campaign thinks it has a chance there, in addition to New Hampshire, and New Mexico.

Tucker Carlson is hosting a Live discussion with special guests from Mar-a-Lago on X.

9PM ET as polls close in 15 more states and lots more races are called

Wyoming, Texas, South Dakota, Nebraska Districts 1, 3, and At-Large, North Dakota, Louisiana, and Kansas were all called for Trump by Fox News.

Delaware, New York, and Colorado were called for Kamala Harris by Fox News.

The latest round of states called brings our totals to 178 Electoral College votes for Donald Trump to 113 Electoral College votes for Kamala Harris in the race for 270.

9:15PM – Fox News called Ohio for Donald Trump with 195 Electoral College votes.

GREAT TAKE – If states are laboratories for democracy, Florida showed the country how it’s done, counting all votes within 45 minutes of polls closing. As Clay Travis argues, there’s no reason this can’t be the standard across the country for 2028.

BREAKING: Texas Senate Update

Fox News projects Ted Cruz defeated Democrat Colin Allred to return for his third term in the U.S. Senate. Democrats spent heavily to defeat Cruz, who notably wasn’t supported by Mitch McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund after being a thorn in McConnell’s side for his first two terms.

9:35pm – Fox News calls New Hampshire for Kamala Harris, bringing her total to 117 Electoral College votes.

Former Donald Trump Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney chimes in with a data observation that could give Trump-world a reason to celebrate earlier than expected this evening, if it holds . . .

10PM ET and here’s where things stand

Don’t sleep on Virginia.

An unexpected swing state has emerged in the race for the White House.

Nobody saw this coming.

But just three hours after the polls closed and Donald Trump could be on the verge of an Electoral College landslide.

Prediction markets began shifting HEAVILY toward Trump in the last 20 minutes.

Even The New York Times, hardly a bastion of conservative, right-wing extremism, has Donald Trump at 75% odds to win the Electoral College. But not only that, they’ve now got him winning the popular vote by .3%!

For perspective, it’s been twenty years since a Republican last won the popular vote.

Time will tell. Many Americans are hoping we know sooner than later.

10pm – Fox News called Montana and Utah for Donald Trump, bringing him to 205 Electoral College votes.

10:36pm – Fox News called Iowa for Donald Trump, bringing him to 211 Electoral College votes.

11PM ET and Mar-a-Lago is prepping for a victory

11pm – Fox News called Idaho for Donald Trump, bringing his total to 216 Electoral College votes.

Many observers believe the race is all-but over officially.

Ohio Senate Update

Republican Senate Candidate Bernie Moreno is projected to defeat Democrat incumbent Sherrod Brown, giving Republicans 50 seats, a crucial victory if indeed J.D. Vance is going to be the next Vice President to preside over the Senate.

BREAKING Georgia Update

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensberger says “Donald Trump has an insurmountable lead with the number of votes outstanding.”

If Trump takes Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, he only needs three more Electoral College votes to win.

BREAKING Update

Associated Press calls North Carolina for Donald Trump, putting Trump at 248 Electoral College votes.

Meanwhile, the Kamala campaign reportedly circulated a campaign memo telling their staff to finish up their work, get some sleep, and prepare to get back to it tomorrow morning while votes are still being counted and races quickly called for Donald Trump.
