Democrat judges won’t stop Trump’s deportations
President Donald Trump upped the ante in his fight to remove members of violent Latin American gangs like Tren de Aragua and MS-13.
He invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 after he designated about a dozen gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.
The law expedites the deportation of illegal aliens who are national security threats by skipping immigration hearings.
Two planes carrying more than 250 members of Tren de Aragua and MS-13 took off from the United States to deport them to Honduras and El Salvador.
D.C. District Court Judge James Boasberg – who was appointed by former President Barack Obama – issued a temporary restraining order on deportations under the Alien Enemies Act.
He ordered the two planes that were in midair to return to the United States with the illegal alien terrorists.
The Trump administration let the flights continue to their final destinations because they argued the judge’s ruling was invalid outside of the United States.
Boasberg is another activist judge who wants to unconstitutionally seize the powers of the Presidency from Trump.
Attorney General Pam Bondi said the deportation flights would continue during an appearance on Fox News.
Judge Jeanine Pirro asked her how the judge could interfere with Trump’s foreign policy and national security powers.
“Well, that’s it. He’s attempting to meddle in national security and foreign affairs, and he can’t do it,” Bondi said. “What he’s done is an intrusion on the President’s authority. You know, this one federal judge, again, thinks he can control foreign policy for the entire country, and he cannot. Right now we’re evaluating our options.”
Pirro asked if the Trump administration would continue to deport criminal illegal aliens.
“Absolutely,” Bondi stated. “These are foreign terrorists that the president has identified and designated them as such, and we will continue to follow the Alien Enemies Act.”
Karoline Leavitt slams activist judges
Boasberg is one of dozens of Democrat District Court judges who are trying to stage a judicial coup by unconstitutionally restricting Trump’s constitutional powers as President.
The Trump administration was hit with more temporary restraining orders and injunctions in February than the Biden administration faced in its first three years.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt slammed the activist judges in a press briefing for acting “erroneously.”
“I would like to point out that the judges in this country are acting erroneously,” Leavitt said. “We have judges who are acting as partisan activists from the bench.”
Leavitt asked the Supreme Court to step in to stop the activist judges.
“It’s incredibly apparent that there is a concerted effort by the far Left to judge shop, to pick judges who are clearly acting as partisan activists from the bench in an attempt to derail this President’s agenda,” Leavitt said. “We will not allow that to happen.”
