Top MS-13 gang leader arrested in Northern Virginia
The open border under former President Joe Biden allowed gangs to flourish.
Latin American gangs moved drugs and members across the southern border under him as they expanded their operations in the United States.
Northern Virginia has become a hotbed for the ultraviolent Salvadoran gang MS-13.
Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel announced that the leader of MS-13’s operations on the East Coast was arrested in a predawn raid in Dale City, Virginia.
Law enforcement didn’t release the name of the gang leader.
“He was the leader for the East Coast, one of the top three in the entire country, right here in Virginia, living half an hour outside of Washington, D.C.,” Bondi stated. “He is an illegal alien from El Salvador and he will not be living in our country much longer.”
Bondi praised President Donald Trump for taking the handcuffs off law enforcement.
“America is safer today because one of the top domestic terrorists in MS-13 is off the streets,” Bondi added.
Trump designated MS-13 and other Latin American gangs as foreign terrorist organizations.
He invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to speed up the deportation of MS-13 and other gang members but was blocked by a Democrat District Court judge appointed by former President Barack Obama.
The FBI is going after actual criminals again
Kash Patel returned to the FBI to its original mission of fighting crime after the bureau became weaponized against conservatives under Biden.
The largest investigation in FBI history was January 6 when armed agents hunted down Trump-supporting grandmas for praying over made-up crimes like parading and picketing.
“This is what happens when you let good cops be cops, and we’re going to continue to be cops across this country,” Patel said. “And if you are here illegally, you will not be here any longer, and if you are going to continue to commit acts of violent crime, you will meet the same fate that this individual did this morning.”
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been sweeping the Virginia area for MS-13 and other illegal alien criminals during the Trump administration.
Bondi said arrests were up 468% in Virginia over the last month compared to last year.
“MS -13 — they are organized, they are violent, they are committing homicides throughout our country,” Bondi explained. “They are one of the most dangerous gangs in our country and we are going to fight until they are completely dismantled.”
Patel was asked how long the MS-13 kingpin had been in the country during a press conference.
“The bottom line is — for far too long,” Patel stated. “Because of operational security we won’t get into details about this individual. If you’re here for a minute, a day, a month, or a year you’ve been here far too long and [Attorney] General Bondi has made it a priority at this FBI we manhunt every single person committing violent crime.”
