And all hell broke loose after Pam Bondi put a top House Democrat on notice about calling for attacks on Elon Musk.
Democrats spent the past four years smearing Donald Trump and his supporters as violent and dangerous threats to democracy.
But Democrats are often guilty of whatever they’re accusing Donald Trump and his supporters of doing.
This is especially true when it comes to political violence.
During the riots that took place after the death of George Floyd in the summer of 2020, left-wing activists inflicted $2 billion worth of property damage and killed dozens of innocent people.
But Democrats and the media referred to the nearly 600 riots as mostly “peaceful protests.”
And now the very same Democrats who smeared Trump supporters as violent are fueling a notable wave of attacks on Tesla dealerships, facilities, and vehicles.
Since January of 2025, more than 20 Tesla dealerships and facilities have been hit by arson, gunfire, and vandalism.
According to social media reports, at least 300 private Teslas have been targeted as well.
The attacks are linked to the left-wing backlash over Elon Musk’s involvement in DOGE taking a sledgehammer to the federal bureaucracy.
But it’s not just the radical Left fueling the flames of violence against Musk.
During a virtual event last week, Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) called for “Elon to be taken down.”
Crockett made the remarks during a virtual rally for The Tesla Takedown movement.
The Tesla Takedown Movement has more than 500 demonstrations scheduled to take place at locations around the country on March 29.
“On March 29, it’s my birthday, and all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down,” Crockett said during her remarks. “I have learned, as I serve on the DOGE Oversight committee, that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.”

Attorney General Pam Bondi has already announced the arrests of several people for vandalizing Teslas.
But during an appearance Sunday on Fox News Channel, Bondi put Jasmine Crockett on notice about her violent rhetoric about Elon Musk.
“There have been three federal charges so far, and I say so far, we are looking at all of these cases across the country,” Bondi said. “We have a dedicated task force.”
“And people need to know, the three people in custody right now, they will receive severe and swift consequences, and they are facing up to 20 years in prison – we are not negotiating these,” Bondi declared.
“This is domestic terrorism,” she continued. “And, Maria, now you have this Congresswoman Crockett who is calling for attacks on Elon Musk on her birthday, ‘let’s take him out on my birthday’ . . . yet she turns and says, ‘oh, I’m not calling for violence.’”
Bondi then dropped the hammer on Crockett.
“Well, she is an elected public official, and so she needs to tread very carefully, because nothing will happen to Elon Musk,” Bondi said. “And we’re going to fight to protect all of — all of the Tesla owners throughout this country.”
“Domestic terrorism is going to come to a stop in our country,” she added.
Democrats were able to get away with violent rhetoric directed at Trump and his supporters over the past four years.
But there’s a new sheriff in town.
And Democrats are about to find out the hard way that Pam Bondi means business.
