Former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden ran into a roadblock in Congress on their most extreme climate change schemes.
That’s why they began abusing their power to use the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to bypass Congress.
Obama and Biden used the EPA to issue sweeping regulations on climate change that could never be passed through any legislature.
The Supreme Court managed to shut down some of the most extreme overreaches like Obama’s plan to use the EPA to regulate greenhouse gas emissions to fight climate change.
President Donald Trump delivered on his promise to bring major reforms to the agency.
EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin launched the biggest deregulatory action in American history.
He took 31 actions that were designed to undo some of the most damaging regulations issued by the EPA under Obama and Biden.
Zeldin targeted regulations governing emissions from natural gas and coal-fired power plants, rules that created Biden’s electric vehicle mandate, regulations restricting oil and gas production, and more.

The Green New Deal policies from the Biden EPA are being thrown in the trash.
The war on coal is coming to an end
Zeldin announced that the EPA would be reconsidering the Mercury and Air Toxics Standards rule that governed coal-fired power plants.
Biden’s rule built a similar one that was issued during the Obama administration.
Coal-fired power plants and coal production have faced an onslaught of regulations designed to put the industry out of business.
The Mercury and Air Toxics Standards would raise regulatory costs for coal-fired power plants with the goal of making it so hard for them to do business that they would shut down.
Democrats openly boasted that they were going to destroy the coal industry through regulations.
“We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business,” Hillary Clinton bragged during a 2016 campaign stop.
Environmental activist groups were horrified at Zeldin’s deregulation agenda.
“This is crazy. This is insane,” Center for Biological Diversity legal director Jason Rylander told NBC News. “There have been attempts to limit the authority of EPA, but the scale and scope and speed with which this administration is attacking environmental safeguards is unprecedented.”
